Generally, the distance between the keypad and the control box of the gate opener should be within 35 feet (10m).

Please note the keypad supports only one code, order the TOPENS TC188 Universal Keypad to set temporary codes for guests.

Weather-resistant for Outdoor Use

Made of high-quality UV-resistant, flame-retardant and durable materials, the waterproof keypad works in bad weather conditions.

The LED backlight is designed to use at low-light conditions.

The 3 x AAA alkaline batteries (incl.) last up to 1 year at 10 activations per day.

For TOPENS sliding gate opener, this keypad can not activate the midway mode (opens the gate partially).

Easy to Program

Fast pairing. Simple to add the keypad to your gate opener system.

One TOPENS gate opener can pair Max. 3 TKP3 keypads on its own, and up to 250 keypads with the ERM12 receiver (sold separately).

Additionally, one TKP3 is allowed to control multiple gate operators separately by setting a different password for each gate motor respectively.

Kindly note that this keypad works with the gate / garage door openers only, and does not support other door access control system.

Compatibility & Support Compatibility check

The TKP3 works with the third-party gate opener or garage door opener whose control board accepts “Normally Open Dry Contact” signal for push button.

For Other Brands’ Gate Openers

Connect with TOPENS ERM12 receiver (sold separately). The ERM12 can be powered by 9-24VDC from the control board or external power source.

Where should I Install the TKP3 keypad?

It is suggested to install the keypad on the same side of the control board and away from any metal structure.

The keypad should be mounted on a clean, solid & flat surface.

The keypad mounting post is NOT included.

How to Ensure Clear Signal Transmission?

For clear signal transmission, please do not put the control board in a metal box.

It is NOT suggested to use the keypad at signal towers, electrical substations and confined spaces.

Some buildings or obstructions may affect the control range.

How to Extend the Control Range?

To extend the control range, it is recommended to pull the antenna out of the control box, or add an ERM12 receiver (sold separately) to the control board.

What Are the Indictions for Replacing the Battery?

If the beep sound and backlight are extremely low when pressing the button or the control range decreases greatly, the batteries need replacement.

Either disposable or rechargeable batteries can be used.
